convert/Translate text document in other language using MS Word 2007

Sometimes we need to translate documents from english to some other language or viceversa. If u need to do this and you don't know that language, then now you can do this simply by using MS Word 2007, no need of translator.

you can insert phrases from languages you do not know into your documents, duplicate documents in multiple languages without retyping and transform documents you have received in foreign languages so you can read them.



Just follow these steps to translate document into other language:

1). Open document and select text which you want to translate.
2). Click on Review button on toolbar then on translate.


3). A window will open on right hand side, here select language in which you want to convert document and also existing language.


4). Click on Go.
5). The selected or highlighted text will be translated in the lower part of the task pane shown in figure.



If you need to translate the selected text into a language that is not included in the given list, click on Translation options and select the particular language you want.

Speed up your computer by cleaning RAM using notepad

If your computer become slow, when you are working with many programs. It may be due to RAM because at that time RAM is full of remaining progress pieces which you are working with and you do not need them any more. So, if you can erase or delete those unnecessary pieces of information, your computer RAM will be cleaned and your computer will be speed up.



Cleaning RAM is very easy task here are steps for it, just follow them:

1). Open notepad.

2). Type FreeMem=Space(64000000).

3). Save file with name "CleanRAM.vbs".

4). Close it and run the file.

It will free memory in RAM, if you want to free more memory than you can write following command in notepad instead of what given in step 2.

FreeMem= (256000000) for 256 mb
FreeMem= (128000000) for 128 mb
FreeMem= (72000000) for 72 mb
FreeMem= (64000000) for 64 mb
FreeMem= (32000000) for 32 mb
FreeMem= (24000000) for 24 mb

Make sure that you don't select the memory that is larger than your memory capacity.

Add Run command to start menu in Vista

Window vista does not have run command in start menu. Run command is great feature of window xp. So those who upgrade from window xp to window vista may miss run command.
Here are steps to include run command in window vista's Start menu.



Follow given steps to add run command to start menu:

1). Right click on taskbar and go to properties.

2). Click on start menu tab.

3). In start menu properties, click on customize button.



4). Scroll down to run command and click on check box of run command.



5). Click ok.

Its done.
Check start menu, It should include run command as shown in figure.

Hide recently opened files and programs from Start Menu

Windows save list of recently opened files and show them in start menu. Its very convinient to find files. But if you wanna some privacy, if you don;t want others to see which files and programs you opened than you can hide recent files.



To remove recent items from start menu just follow these steps:

1). Right click on taskbar and click on Properties.

2). Click on start menu tab.

3). Uncheck the check boxes under privacy.



4). Click ok.

Its done.
Click on start menu and check recent items and recent programs, they must not be in start menu. Start menu will look like this figure.

Make Start menu's icon smaller - Cool Computer Trick

Window vista by default has large icons in start menu, So you can pin only limited number of programs with Start menu. If you want to pin more programs with start menu then this trick can be proved useful. You can make icons smaller in start menu, it will provide more space, hance you can pin more programs to Start Menu.



Here are steps to set small icons in start menu:

1). Right click on taskbar and select Properties.

2). In properties window, Go to start menu tab.

3). Click on customize button.



4). In custmize window, scroll down to bottom and uncheck Use Large Icons.



5). Click on Ok and then on Apply.

Now see the changes in start menu. It should look like yhis figure.

Relax your eyes while working on your Computer

If you use computer for more than 2-3 hours per day, for any purpose work, fun, internet, games or anything. It may strain your eyes.
